We leave on Friday April 25th on the 1230 sailing to Roscoff. We anticipate that the Band will play during the crossing. On arrival we drive to Concarneau and expect to arrive around 2130. After checking-in there will be a chance to make a review of the bar! Because of the late arrival no dinner is provided tonight. We’re staying at the 3* Hotel de l’Océan (www.hotel-ocean.com) which faces the beach and has a covered swimming pool in the gardens. Naturally, all rooms have private facilities. It enjoys a fine reputation for its cuisine. On the next three nights, after dinner in the hotel, the Band will play for your enjoyment.
On Saturday we set off for the ancient capital of Cornouaille, Quimper where we spend the morning. We return to Concarneau in the early afternoon. After dinner at the hotel the Band will play.
On Sunday we plan a leisurely day, sightseeing in Concarneau and in the afternoon a short drive to Pont Aven, the artists’ town made famous by Gaugin. We return to the hotel for dinner and music from the Band.
On Monday morning we head northwards to the fishing port and resort of Audierne where we will stop for sightseeing. We now travel on to the most extreme point of Brittany, Pointe du Raz (or Land’s End in Breton). We return to the hotel in the late afternoon. After dinner the Band will play.
On Tuesday morning we travel to Brest for sightseeing and then to Landivisiau where we will have lunch before continuing to Roscoff to catch the 1530 sailing to Plymouth. During the crossing we anticipate that the Band will play. We arrive in Plymouth at 2030 and the coach then returns to the original pick up points.
The cost includes: all travel by executive coach; ferry crossing ; four nights at a 3* hotel and dinner with wine on three nights; buffet breakfast; entertainment by the Band; all excursions; lunch.

Note: The hotel has some duplex rooms which are rooms with a second separate bedroom but shared bathroom. They are most useful for families and though we don’t usually have families travelling on Jazz tours it could be of interest to a group of three persons who wished to avoid the expensive single supplement. Please consult with us if you need more information.
